Le Storm continue sa série de matchs à domicile avec une victoire éclatante contre les Dallas Wings, portant leur bilan à trois victoires en trois matchs sur leurs terres. Seattle affrontait aujourd’hui les Wings, récemment sortis de leur première victoire depuis le 26 mai dernier, mettant fin à une série de 11 défaites consécutives face aux vainqueurs de la Commissioner’s Cup, les Minnesota Lynx.
Jordan Horston effectuait son troisième match consécutif en tant que titulaire, rejoignant le quatuor habituel composé de Nneka Ogwumike, Ezi Magbegor, Jewell Loyd et Skylar Diggins-Smith. Horston n'a une fois de plus pas déçu, décrochant le titre de meilleure joueuse de la rencontre.
Le premier quart-temps a été équilibré, les équipes se rendant coup pour coup.
Les dix premières minutes se sont soldées par un léger avantage de trois points pour Seattle. Dès le deuxième quart-temps, le Storm a commencé à creuser l'écart, mené par Jewell Loyd et ses 12 points. À la mi-temps, Seattle menait de 11 points.

En interview d'après-match, Horston, a exprimé son plaisir à défendre contre les meilleures joueuses de la ligue, mentionnant Caitlin Clark et Arike Ogunbowale, qui a terminé avec 24 points, 5 rebonds et 5 passes décisives, accompagnée des 15 points de Teaira McCowan et des 12 points de Natasha Howard.

The Storm extended their home game streak with a resounding victory against the Dallas Wings, bringing their home record to three wins in three games. Seattle faced the Wings today, who were coming off their first win since May 26, ending an 11-game losing streak against the Commissioner’s Cup winners, the Minnesota Lynx.
Jordan Horston started her third consecutive game, joining the usual quartet of Nneka Ogwumike, Ezi Magbegor, Jewell Loyd, and Skylar Diggins-Smith. Horston once again did not disappoint, earning the title of the game's best player.
The first quarter was balanced, with both teams exchanging blows. The first ten minutes ended with a slight three-point advantage for Seattle. In the second quarter, the Storm began to pull away, led by Jewell Loyd and her 12 points. By halftime, Seattle was leading by 11 points.
Pride Night was celebrated enthusiastically, with fans joining the Storm’s DJ to dance and celebrate.
The Storm then started the third quarter on fire, scoring seven consecutive points and extending their lead to 20 points. The game was well-distributed with contributions from each player.

A hush fell over the stadium when Jewell Loyd suffered a severe foul, but she got up to the crowd's applause and made both free throws.
Arike Ogunbowale, with her 22 points and several assists, tried to keep Dallas in the game, but Loyd continued to rack up points, finishing the third quarter with 23 points, 4 assists, and 4 rebounds.
After her last game against Indiana, where she poured in points to extinguish the Fever, Jewell Loyd continued her Olympic form, finishing with 30 points, 5 assists, and 5 rebounds. All the Storm starters scored in double digits: Nneka Ogwumike with 16 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists; Ezi Magbegor with 13 points and 5 rebounds; Skylar Diggins-Smith with 11 points and 5 assists; and Jordan Horston achieving her first double-double of the season with 12 points and 11 rebounds.
In a post-game interview, Horston expressed her pleasure in defending against the league’s best players, mentioning Caitlin Clark and Arike Ogunbowale, who finished with 24 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists, supported by Teaira McCowan’s 15 points and Natasha Howard’s 12 points.
On the international front, the audience witnessed the reunion of former UCONN teammates Lou Lopez-Senechal (9 minutes, 2 rebounds) and Nika Muhl (3 minutes, 1 rebound) on the court. Friends in life, they faced each other tonight wearing different jerseys but shared the pride and joy of playing in the best women’s league in the world.
